Our jaw filler treatment injects pure hyaluronic acid subdermally around the jaw, the goal being to sculpt and contour the jawline to the client’s desired shape.

Based on patient accounts, jawline fillers are not particularly painful. The injections sting, as you might expect, but we can prep your skin with a numbing cream.
After your procedure, you may experience a mild itchiness around the healing injection points. The skin of your jaw may feel slightly tight and plump. These symptoms will subside within 3-4 days as your skin heals and the filler settles into your tissue.
You can expect your jawline contouring fillers to last approximately a year, though they may last longer. Your body will safely metabolise the hyaluronic acid in the fillers; the more movement in the area, the quicker the process. Since your jaw experiences a lot of movement as you talk and emote, your fillers will likely last about a year.
The body easily tolerates pure hyaluronic acid, so there is a vanishingly low risk of you having an adverse reaction. You may experience minor itching and swelling as the injection point heals, but this is to be expected.
There is a risk of filler migration, where the hyaluronic acid spreads out from the targeted area. If this occurs, we can easily dissolve unwanted dermal filler.
