Radiofrequency (RF) needling produces fast and noticeable results for a plumper, even skin tone.
Before we commence any treatment we will assess your skin and ensure you are a good candidate for RF Needling. We will prepare your skin with a topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) and ensure you are going to be comfortable throughout your treatment.
RF Needling adds radio-frequency energy to your microneedling treatment. The addition of this treatment heats into the layers of your skin, causing the skin to tighten while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. You will benefit from this treatment if you have age spots, acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, or sagging skin.
Your RF Needling treatment involves the use of a specialised microneedling device that has oscillating needles that move up and down across the skin while transmitting RF energy to tighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
You want to ensure your skin is clean and that you have been caring for your skin as you usually would, with whatever skincare regime you follow. We will give you plenty of guidance on how to prepare for your treatment to achieve the best possible outcome, including any vitamins or serums for best results.
Ultimately, you want to care for your skin as you would your body - eat a nutritious and healthy diet that is high in good vitamins and minerals and make sure you are caring for your skin by taking off makeup of an evening, and cleansing and using a good moisturising product. Avoid sun exposure where possible and use good sunscreen whenever you are out in the elements.
Due to the way the needles and RF energy works on the skin, you may experience some redness and crust on your skin after your treatment. You can reduce any swelling or redness by simply applying a cold compress and ensuring you steer clear of hot showers to the treated area. As the needle pierces the skin you can expect some redness, but this will abate within a few days as your skin starts to heal itself.

You can expect to see results from your RF Needling treatment after about a week and up to ten days. Your skin will also continue to renew itself and will firm up and get smoother over the weeks following your treatment, with optimum results after four to six weeks.
Skin will look smoother and firmer and will continue to develop for up to four months after your treatment, and you can expect to see your results last anywhere from six months up to a couple of years! Your results will depend on how advanced certain factors are such as wrinkles and loss of skin tone, but a quick consult with our team will tell you everything you need to know.
We recommend getting a couple of treatments (three to four) spaced out to about a month to a month and a half for the best possible outcome. After your initial set of treatments you will only need a follow up annually to ensure you continue to have great looking skin. Of course, you can get treatments more frequently - as the more you have the more improvement you will see.
If you are looking for a non-surgical treatment that firms and plumps your skin then RF Needling is a great option for you. After your first set of treatments you will only need a freshen up every six months to a year for best results. The cost for treatment will depend on the size of the area you are looking to treat, and we can also do packages for multiple treatments which can significantly reduce the cost.
